Welcome to Footworks, Reflexology by Sally Killingback AOR (Member of the Association of Reflexologists) IIR (Institute of International Reflexology), ART (Advanced Reflexology Techniques), Dip Maternity Reflexology, Seren Reproflexologist (Regd) at Taylor's Farm, Sherfield-on-Loddon, near Basingstoke, Hampshire. Authorised member of the Vertical Reflex Therapy (VRT) Network.Important Notice
I have just returned from a very thought provoking two weeks in south east India. I was there to take part in a yoga retreat and was privileged to stay in a beautiful hotel with all mod cons for that part of the trip. However one didn’t have to look far to see the poverty, chaos and the squalor caused by mountains of plastic rubbish. The one positive thing I have brought home is that I must have smiled more in those two weeks than in the previous 2 years! Everyone smiles, not in a patronising fashion, but because the Tamil Nadu people seem a happy bunch. Wonderful.
I have returned to a very full diary and an 8 week old puppy. Therefore, please note that I will not be accepting new enquiries until March 2019.
Please note that, reluctantly, I no longer accept new clients for fertility reflexology. This has been a difficult decision but I feel strongly that I need to be able to commit to long term support of anyone with fertility issues, and, with retirement not too far away, this I can no longer do.
I recommend you to the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (ARR) website where you will find a tab for “Find a reflexologist”. I highly recommend Rachel Carlse of www.farnboroughnaturalfertility.co.uk who is an amazing reflexologist in this field.
I will leave the Fertility pages on this website for information purposes.
Please note that it is ‘business as usual’ for reflexology to help with many conditions and of course Maternity Reflexology.
I am a Professional Reflexologist providing clinical reflexology for many conditions and pain relief. I have a special interest in Maternity Reflexology and post-natal care.
This subtle, gentle therapy can be used to help restore and maintain the body’s natural equilibrium. It encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance. Please note though that reflexologists do not claim to treat, diagnose or prescribe.
However, not all reflexology is the same!
I have had the benefit of unique and insightful training with Tony Porter who teaches Advanced Reflexology Techniques (ART). His techniques ensure that you, the client, benefit from the full potential that this therapy can offer.
In 2013 I was very fortunate to study under Nico Pauly, a highly regarded Belgian physio and clinician, who has inspired me to look at the nervous system and human anatomy in a lot of detail and apply his particular method of reflexology to benefit those with pain issues. I now hold his International Diploma in Nerve Reflex Therapy.
Many of my clients receive general reflexology and it is suitable for all ages. After having completed a course of treatments, many people find it beneficial to continue with regular sessions in order to maintain health and well-being. It is a wonderful form of relaxation, which, combined with reiki or Rahanni healing, leaves you feeling refreshed and ready to face the world again.
Another area of my work involves providing treatments to clients with learning and developmental difficulties at two residential homes in Hampshire and Berkshire.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT WORK THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS or WEEKENDS
My practice is situated just outside Basingstoke at Taylor's Farm, Sherfield-on-Loddon and is within easy reach of Hook, Odiham, Reading and surrounding areas. Please note that I do not work Thursdays, Fridays or weekends.
Maternity Reflexology for PregnancyMaternity reflexology is a wonderful holistic therapy which complements the natural event of childbirth. As your Maternity Reflexologist, I will support you and your growing baby throughout your pregnancy, helping your body to prepare for childbirth. Maternity reflexology encourages relaxation - especially important if you are juggling work commitments, young children....often both!
Research studies have shown that expectant mothers who receive regular maternity reflexology treatments may enjoy much shorter labour times and require significantly less pain relief than those who did not have reflexology.
Maternity reflexology treatments promote calm and relaxation and support your pregnancy through all three Trimesters leading up to the birth of your baby.
"As I suffered from PCOS, it had taken three and a half years to fall pregnant which, of course, made me anxious in the early weeks. However, Sally's treatments really kept me calm and balanced in both body and mind. I have never really taken time to look after myself in this way before so it took a while to learn switch off and relax. I have a busy job and the usual day to day stresses pile up. Alongside helping me in my pregnancy, reflexology helped me wind down, reflect and put me in a better state of wellbeing".
Baby overdue? An experienced maternity reflexologist may be able to encourage the onset of labour but you must be over 40 weeks. Call me to discuss receiving a 'priming treatment'. Remember that reflexology in the last few weeks of pregnancy is a fantastic relaxing treatment helping you to be as fit and prepared as possible for your baby's birth day!
" Following a friend's recommendation I visited Sally for a priming session. The treatment was so relaxing, Sally was lovely and even better, contractions began that evening. I would recommend this to any mother to be! I'm so grateful to you."

" I just wanted to say thank you for the treatments that you provided over the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy. As a first-timer I didn't know what to expect from the sessions but you put me at ease and explained how the treatment would work. I thoroughly enjoyed each session and your help was greatly appreciated in working towards turning our breech baby. I was over the moon to be told by the midwife that the baby was no longer breech at the 36 week appointment. Thank you for your help."

Reflexology encourages the body's own healing processes, physically, mentally and emotionally. As your reflexologist I will ensure that, through using skilled and appropriate techniques and deep relaxation, you will feel back in control of your health.
