All about Sally Killingback
IIR (Regd) ART (Regd) MAR Dip Maternity Reflexology
To explain the letters after my name.........I trained with the International Institute of Reflexology
and gained a Diploma with a distinction grade. That qualifies me to be a Member of the Association of Reflexologists
who promote the professional standards of Reflexology at the highest level. I also hold a Diploma in Maternity Reflexology
so you know you are in safe hands for all aspects of sub-fertility issues, pregnancy and beyond. Although the profession is self-regulated, when you see those initials you know the practitioner is professional, adhering to a strict code of conduct, holds a current First Aid Certificate and is fully insured. I also hold a Reiki 1 qualification
Continuing Professional Development is obligatory as a professional reflexologist and since 2008 I trained with the amazing Susanne Enzer (known to many as the 'Mother of Maternity Reflexology') and began my passion of working with pregnant mums. In 2009 I attended an Advanced Reflexology Course in St Petersberg, Florida, at the headquarters of the IIR. This gave me huge confidence with a much extended skill base.
Many short courses followed - Facial Reflexology, Chi Reflexology, Vertical Reflexology, Moxibustion in Pregnancy.
In April 2012 I completed successfully the Seren Reproflexology Pre Conceptual Care Programme and the Assisted Conception Programme
. I am now a registered practitioner for helping couples with fertility issues.
Since 2010 I trained in Advanced Reflexology Techniques with Tony Porter and in July 2011 became a Member of the ART Register of Advanced Reflexologists

Much of my career, prior to becoming a Reflexologist, was spent in education and medicine. Years giving nutritional and dietary advice to hospital patients was perhaps the greatest influence upon my choice of complementary therapy training. I believe that if one is encouraged to look at the prevention of illness through a combination of holistic therapy, exercise and nutrition the need for medical intervention and pharmaceutical medicine may be reduced. The body does a great job healing itself if
we give it a chance. I had many years of deadlines and work induced stress and I am only too aware of the effect that can have upon one's health.
On a personal note: I was born in Basingstoke, went to the old Girls' High School, lived from 1974 to 2003 in Earley, Reading and for several years in France. My husband and I live between Basingstoke and Reading and we are the proud owners of 2 (grown-up) children, 4 grandchildren and an allotment!Association of Reflexologists
