Location Map ![]() Maternity Reflexology for PregnancyMaternity reflexology is a wonderful holistic therapy which complements the natural event of childbirth. As your Maternity Reflexologist, I will support you and your growing baby throughout your pregnancy, helping your body to prepare for childbirth. Maternity reflexology encourages relaxation - especially important if you are juggling work commitments, young children....often both!Research studies have shown that expectant mothers who receive regular maternity reflexology treatments may enjoy much shorter labour times and require significantly less pain relief than those who did not have reflexology. Did you know that after your 25th week of pregnancy, you should be able to qualify for a Health in Pregnancy Grant and receive a lump sum payment of £190? This one-off payment is being provided to help you stay well and healthy in the later stages of your pregnancy. Maternity reflexology treatments will help ensure you are calm and relaxed and help prepare your body in the important time leading up to the birth of your baby. Baby overdue? An experienced maternity reflexologist may be able to encourage the onset of labour but you must be over 40 weeks. Call me to discuss receiving a 'priming treatment'. Remember that reflexology in the last few weeks of pregnancy is a fantastic relaxing treatment helping you to be as fit and prepared as possible for your baby's birth day! Breech baby?
